Description We are seeking an Operations Specialist based in Los Angeles, California, offering a contract to hire employment opportunity in the telecom provider industry. The role involves managing logistics and customer service operations, with an emphasis on vendor/customer relations, ocean carriers, airlines, bookings, documentations, quotations, billing/invoicing, reconciliation, and defense contracts.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee logistics operations, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of services.

• Act as the primary point of contact for ocean and air customer service inquiries.

• Maintain strong relationships with vendors and customers to improve operations and service delivery.

• Handle bookings, documentations, and quotations for ocean carriers and airlines.

• Manage billing and invoicing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Conduct reconciliation tasks as required, resolving any discrepancies promptly.

• Oversee defense contracts, ensuring compliance with all terms and conditions.

• Travel out of state as needed to meet with vendors, customers, or other stakeholders.

• Use skills in freight forwarding and cargo handling to optimize operations.

• Leverage experience with military personnel to manage and resolve any relevant issues. Requirements • Demonstrable experience as an Operations Specialist or in a related role

• Proficient knowledge and experience in freight forwarding and cargo handling

• Experience in or understanding of military personnel procedures and protocols

• Excellent organizational and leadership skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities

• Proficiency in using relevant software and databases

• Ability to handle and oversee complex operational procedures

• Problem-solving capabilities with a strategic and analytical mindset

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, or relevant field.
