Duties and responsibilities related to the ​ Senior Sommelier ​ role * *

• Oversee the Wine programme at the hotel,inparticularintheWine & Tea Lounge

• Curate an extensive and diverse wine list that complements our culinary offerings and caters to the preferences of ourguests

• Provide expert recommendations and guidance to guests on wineselection, ensuring an exceptional and memorable dining experience

• Manage wine inventory, including ordering, receiving, and organising wines tomaintainoptimalquality

• Conductregularwine tastings and educational sessions for colleagues and guests to enhance their understanding and appreciation of wine

• Collaborate closely with the culinary team to develop wine pairings for seasonal menus andspecial events.

*About you *

Extensiveknowledge of wine varietalswith enthusiasm for ongoing learning and exploration within the field.Previousexperience in a similar role within a fine dining establishment or luxury hotel is highly desirable.
