What the day will look like
As a key member of our dynamic organization, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of high-profile clients and navigating complex marine cargo claims with precision and expertise. Your responsibilites will include:
Managing a portfolio of high-value marine cargo claims from inception to resolution whilst ensuring exceptional service delivery and client satisfaction
Collaborating closely with clients, carriers, Aon brokers and all stakeholders to facilitate efficient claims handling processes
Analyse claim documentation, investigate losses and negotiate settlements in accoridance with policy terms and regulatory requirements
Provide mentorship and guidance to less experienced colleagues fostering a culture of continuous learning and development within the team
Staying abreast of industry trends, regulation and best practice to enhance Aon's claims handling capabilties and risk mitigation

Skills and experience that will lead to success
Minimum 5 years marine cargo claims handling experience ideally gained from within a reputable insurance or shipping organisation
Proven experience of managing complex claims and delivering results in a client-facing environment
Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with high-profile clients and stakeholders
Strong understanding of marine cargo insurance principles, policies and procedures.
