Position title: Finance Manager (FP&A standardisation)

Location: Manchester area (Cheadle) or London (Hammersmith)

Reports to: Head of FP&A

Contract type: Permanent, full-time, hybrid working system

Your Role & Team in a Nutshell

As a Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role during our organisational transition regarding system harmonisation. You’ll focus on enhancing our operational efficiency and unifying financial procedures.

Your journey will involve two key objectives:

• firstly, to standardise processes, language, and tools across various categories as far as possible, and

• secondly, to engage actively in the deployment of our core SAP system within segments currently using alternative systems.

You will be part of our EMEA & Asia Financial Planning & Analysis team, overseeing one direct report.

We will help you achieve your goals and develop by providing regular feedback and access to online training courses.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Regional BI reporting:

  • Ownership of recently developed BI tools for the region and continuous improvement of their accuracy.

  • Develop and oversee regional Power BI reports supporting finance and commercial activities.

  • Ensure data integrity and maintain system hierarchies, collaborating with clusters to enhance understanding and usage.

  • Educate on the importance of hierarchies and facilitate their quality improvement.

Strategic decision and support:

  • Collaborate with regional FP&A and Commercial Finance teams for process and system enhancements.

  • Act as a liaison between corporate and local teams to standardise P&L reporting.

  • Participate in standardising customer programming across categories.

  • Develop future reporting methods for business decision support.

Long-term improvement of reporting capabilities:

  • Work with Global IT and Analytics teams to prioritize key IT tools implementation in the EMEA & Asia region.

  • Partner with the global team to transition local solutions to corporate tools (e.g., Customer Forecasting Tool to Anaplan).

  • Support SAP implementations, Legal Entity Rationalisation project, other projects with a focus on continuous improvements.

What You’ll Need

Minimum:

  • Demonstrated experience in finance and/or FP&A roles, including international complex project management.

  • Proficiency in Power BI with basic programming knowledge.

  • Good command of MS Office application, with advanced Excel skills

  • Excellent understanding of P&L dynamics, particularly customer programming

  • Solid understanding of database management and master data hierarchies.

  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills to engage stakeholders from diverse backgrounds, effectively communicate project benefits and expectations, and coordinate inputs for project delivery.
