Job Description:
Provide technical assistance to marinas. Respond to facilities that have expressed interest in or applied for CVA grant funds to field questions related to the installation, repair and/or operation of sewage disposal equipment and/or for the Clean Marina Program. (50%)
Provide support for boating educational programs. Work proactively with UF/Sea Grant CVA Education Coordinator, local stakeholder groups, other agencies, and non-profits to develop coordinated efforts for boater outreach. (40%)
Provide data collection support for maintaining both the Pumpout Nav app and the state pumpout inventory for the No Discharge Zone initiative. (10%)
Expected Salary:
37,400
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with marinas and boating. Familiarity with GPS is a plus.
