KKR are committed to supporting the business’ growth ambition, whilst continuing to follow Unilever’s responsible sourcing policies , including working towards the goal of sourcing 100 per cent sustainable palm oil by 2019.

Your Role

Your Main Responsibilities: -

The 2x Retail Controller’s will sit on the UK and Ireland (UKI) BCS (Baking, Cooking & Spreads) Leadership Team reporting into the General Manager. The Retail Controller’s will be externally focused and lead a mixture of accounts (a rough 50:50 split with the final portfolio TBC depending on experience and development).

  • The Retail Controller will be responsible for developing strong working relations with senior customer contacts

  • The Retail Controller will have line management responsibility, providing strategic direction for the CAM’s within their area

  • Delivery of Turnover, Customer Profitability and Business Building Terms budgets

  • Delivery of value market share targets

  • Develop strong relationships with both internal (e.g. Category Directors) & external customers (e.g. Category Managers, Trading Managers, Category Directors)

  • Leadership and coaching of Customer Account Managers within specified area

  • Deliver in store activation events as per plan

  • Develop & deliver Joint Business Plans with the Customer

  • Develop and deliver promotional plan within Customer

  • Day to day administration and evaluation of product portfolio e.g. Promotional Evaluation, inputs to Sales and Operational Planning etc

  • Lead range and merchandising reviews

  • Deliver key initiatives at Customer e.g. Price Increases, Brand Activation, NPD etc

  • Work with Customer Service Team to ensure customer service issues are resolved efficiently

  • Own the short term volume and spend forecast aligned to S&OP process

  • Relationship Management of Senior Trading Contacts

  • Produce and execute Joint Customer Business Plan

  • Resolution of Customer Category Trade Off’s

  • Input Customer requirements to internal planning processes

  • Performance and development of CAM’s within their team
