Description

Boutique law firm with congenial environment and excellent record seeking a Litigation Secretary based in Orange County. This role involves civil litigation and trial processes, requiring tech-savvy individuals with a keen eye for detail. As part of this role, you will get the opportunity to manage calendars, prepare legal documents, and handle court filings.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize Microsoft Office Suites, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook to efficiently manage tasks.

• Leverage your understanding of litigation to prepare for trials.

• Manage calendars effectively to keep track of important dates and deadlines.

• Prepare legal documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal procedures.

• Handle filing with the courts, ensuring all documents are submitted in a timely manner.

• Utilize Management System knowledge to keep track of legal proceedings.

• Perform billing functions when necessary.

• Assist in briefing process by providing necessary documentation and dictation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or equivalent legal training

• Filing with the courts

• Ability to calendar court deadlines

• Formatting legal documents
