VCA Animal Hospitals Veterinary Technician Supervisor in Kirkland, Washington
VCA Rose Hill Animal Hospital is seeking a talented Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team and take on a leadership role as the Veterinary Technician Supervisor.
In the Veterinary Technician Supervisor Role your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Directing workflow on the floor
Cultivate an inclusive work environment and strong hospital culture
Help with the interview process for potential new hires
Technician Scheduling
Assists in staffing and coverage where needed
Assists in the educational development of technicians and their skills
Assists in basic protocol and standard procedure training
Provide opportunities for staff to gain more firsthand experience
Ensure that VCA policies, guidelines, and recommendations are implemented by all members of the technical staff.
Work cohesively with hospital management and supervisory teams to aid in the progression of the hospital
Provide opportunities for staff to gain more firsthand experience
Resolve conflicts in a professional and humble manner
You will work alongside our Medical Director and Hospital Manager, to provide mentorship, ensure the hospital runs efficiently, and foster a winning environment.
Schedule: Full-time opportunities, 4 x 10 hour shifts.
Compensation: The pay range for this position is $30 -35 / hour. Starting range is determined by skill set and years of experience in the field. Financial growth opportunities available.

VETERINARY TECHNICIAN SUPERVISOR QUALIFICATIONS
Licensed Veterinary Technician- CVT, LVT, RVT
3+ years of veterinary experience
Passion for Veterinary Medicine and mentorship
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
