Applied Materials Lead Electrical Engineer in Kirkkonummi, Finland

Work as a Lead Electrical engineer

We are looking for a senior electrical designer to work with product development teams developing world-class ALD (Atomic Layer Deposition) systems. Your closest collaborators would be design leads from mechanics, automation, and product safety. In this position your responsibilities would be to ensure that the electrical designs meet the needs of different markets and regulations, to drive the design unification over the different product families, and to implement the best design practices in everyday project work.

Are you the one we are looking for?

To succeed in this role, you need to have a degree in electrical engineering and > 5 years of relevant work experience gained preferably from machinery industry, including electrical cabinet design, component selection, and wiring harness designs. Experience on various electrical CAD and PDM systems is an asset. Being familiar with standards and regulations related to electrical equipment safety is highly preferred.

Good communication skills are required to effectively describe various technical issues. Ability to work with people from different backgrounds, and the coaching skills for younger engineers are an asset for a senior electrical engineer.

We use English in our daily communication, so Finnish skills are not mandatory.
