IVINS CITY PUBLIC SAFETY OFFICER I or II in IVINS, Utah
FULL-TIME, 42-HOUR WORKWEEK, NON-EXEMPT
GENERAL PURPOSE
Performs a wide range of working level technical law enforcement duties related to enforcing the laws, maintaining the peace, security, and rendering aid and related to protecting life and property of Ivins City and Santa Clara City residents. Works under the direct supervision of the Public Safety Sergeant and under the general supervision of the Captain and Public Safety Director.
ESSENTIAL JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND FUNCTIONS
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be at least 21 years of age and eligible to work as a Peace Officer in the United States.
- Must have a valid Utah driver's license.
- Must reside within 25 miles of Ivins City or Santa Clara city limits.
- Current Peace Officer Certification/Special Function Officer from Utah P.O.S.T. or certify within 12 months of hire.
- Must complete Ivins City Field Training within 6 months.
Must have CPR certification and first aid training.
