The Strategic Planning and Data Analytics Senior Analyst will be primarily responsible for the end-to-end management of the Client Segmentation, which ensures portfolio integrity of the CCB. This position is the key to all downstream systems in providing an accurate view for CCB senior management decision making concerning financial investment, incentive compensation and staffing growth. In addition, will also be responsible for providing technical expertise and leadership to provide tools and solutions to increase team and banker productivity and effectiveness.


  • Manage End-to-end account segmentation

  • Lead SP & DA Team for ad hocs, tool building and process automation

  • Manage the datasets that drive US Based Cash Management Reporting

  • Provide technical expertise to bridge the gap between mainframe operations, SAS, and MS SQL server

Key Responsibilities :

  • Primary responsibility for Interfacing with management on administration of segmentation and managing end-to-end monthly production cycle of CPDW Banker Dashboard and Data warehouse, which provides insight to CCB senior management for effective decision making concerning financial investment, incentive compensation and staffing growth

  • Develop new techniques and processes for evaluating and measuring performance and success

  • Oversee Finance interface for production of senior Business Unit Reporting; Provide oversight over monthly Dashboard Reporting results

  • Liaison between CPDW Data warehouse and Mainframe / SAS environments

  • Provides expertise and innovation in the design of business ad hocs, analytics, and reporting tool development in order to aid in the automation of team/banker processes and experience improvement

  • Apply technical expertise and analytical skills to define solutions to support the Commercial Bank

  • Apply a forward looking mentality to continuously research improvement methods and tools to deliver significant results across the SP&DA team, as well as the greater CCB in order to simplify our processes and improve the client experience while increasing staff productivity

  • Establish and develop strong relationships with departmental and organizational leaders, and champion a culture of teamwork, continuous learning and self-improvement while maintaining Citi’s values and interests

  • Provide leadership to collaborate and strategize with all levels of the organization to assess feasibility, determine costs versus benefits and prioritize identified initiatives

  • Proven proficiencies in SQL, Mainframe, and SAS

  • Bachelors degree or MBA, MIS emphasis preferred

  • 10+ years relevant business experience in mainframe, SAS, and Banking experience.
