Job Description

• Reporting to the General Manager, TW/HK the BU Head is responsible for building and leading business unit in Hong Kong in line with global and regional business goals and objectives and is an active member of Aesthetics Taiwan & Hong Kong Leadership team, contributing to Hong Kong organizational culture and business strategies.

• Build and manage commercial operations strategy and execution in order to achieve relevant Brand Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and meet or exceed respective Plan within expense budgets.

• Coordinate, consolidate and drive brand financial goals and allocated P&L. Review, challenge and validate market data, insights and outputs in order to incorporate realistic and “raise the bar” objectives into financial planning and sales incentive target setting.

• Provide management, insight and leadership to maximize business return.

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for market preparation and launch activities.

• Demonstrate the behaviors expected as a member of the Taiwan & Hong Kong Leadership Team.

• Demonstrate inspiring leadership and develop future Commercial leaders.

• Ensures that Hong Kong BU strategies align with regional and Global Strategies and meet financial, compliance and organizational requirements.

• Professionally manage cross functional cooperation, lead, manage and coordinate effective multistakeholder communications (i.e. Brand Team) and ensure strategic and tactical alignment between In Field and Brand Team activities including timely and qualitative market intelligence information flow between In Field, Brand Teams and Sales Function in order to optimize brand strategy and its execution.

• Monitor and consolidate the outcomes of regional engagement and account plans in order to feed the brand planning process and to anticipate market needs and/or changes.

• Coach and develop top talent, set goals, conduct succession planning, execute performance management agenda in order to align people performance to business goals, business KPIs and to maximize business opportunities.

• Optimize resource utilization by leading, developing and coaching Sales Team performance including setting sales targets and incentive schemes, managing Sales Force Management Systems and KPIs in order to continuously improve district sales performance. Ensure regular updates on Sales Team skills in terms of scientific, medical, technical and special in-field knowledge areas.

• Ensure sales territory priorities, activities and engagement plans are aligned with brand strategy and strategic priorities in order to optimize strategic momentum and drive brand success.

• Represent AA and AbbVie to outside stakeholders as customer centric and the health care partner of choice in order to build sustainable company and brand image.

• Proactively and continuously aspire to serve key stakeholder needs, expectations and challenges in order to build trusted key stakeholder relationships and to achieve win-win agreements on a continuous basis.

• Influence opinions of key stakeholders (i.e. KOLs, wholesalers, etc.) to maximize brand performance.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

• BA Degree required, MBA preferable

• 10+ years directly relatable experience.

• Solid experience and proven successful track record in marketing- and sales management roles in the pharmaceutical / biotechnology industry

Essential Skills, Experience, and Competencies (includes Licenses, Credentials)

• Work experience in multi-national company, understand the complexity of organization

• Strong team, leadership, planning and written/verbal communication skills

• Strong business acumen and knowledge of sales and marketing aspects, financial processes, brand and market dynamics

• Proven track record of successful leadership, management and coaching of teams and individuals, and in having developed talent and performance managed low performers

• Knowledge of territory and relationships with key stakeholders already established

• Ability to build strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and other relevant stakeholders

• Ability to think and plan strategically (work plans, activities, time tables, targeting) and operating with execution excellence
