Title: Vision Systems Technician I (Electrode)
Reports to: Vision Systems Manager
Location: Holland, MI
Technicians: Starting pay ranging from $23 to $28 per hour

Summary: This position manages, analyzes and improves vision systems that are computer- or vision-controller-based. This role focuses on software analysis and hardware maintenance and will work with precision using various tools to ensure the efficiency and reliability of our systems.
Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and analyze vision systems programs provided by vendors for optimal functionality
Perform actual measurement of electrode using various tools including microscopes
Document and analyze root causes of software and hardware system failures
Track system logs daily for performance monitoring and maintenance
Demonstrate understanding of computer components and functionalities (e.g., Graphics drives, CPU, Power Supply, RAM)
Manage and track electronic wiring systems
Develop and maintain a good working relationship across all levels in the organization
Completes all safety training as required
Compliance with all ELS safety programs, policies, and procedures
Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards:
Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain
Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container
Follow LGESMI existing cleaning SOP’s during downtime (e.g. line stop, waiting time, etc.), which includes cleaning your designated machine and/or surrounding work area
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED required
Vocational Certificate or Associates Degree preferred or equivalent, relevant experience
Experience:
1 to 3+ years of related machining experience or equivalent, relevant experience

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to properly and regularly utilize the following PPE for a period of up to 12 hours
Safety glasses
Steel-toed shoes
Latex Gloves
Nitrile Gloves
Respirator
Must be able to do the following repeatedly for a period of up to 12 hours up to 7 days a week
Lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds
Stoop, twist, bend
Reach overhead
Sit and/or stand
