Job Overview

 

 

We are currently looking for a Inventory Analyst to join our team in Holland, MI.

 

As a Inventory Analyst, you will:

 

Oversees plant inventory activities, including cycle counting, inventory adjustments, audits, reconciliation, root cause analysis, and related interfaces with various departments. Implements continuous improvement projects to increase lean movement, accuracy, and warehouse organization of inventory. This role will support the DC.

 

Some of the responsibilities include (but not limited to):

 

Performs all transactions required to initiate and close cycle counts to ensure cycle count process is complete and correct.

Trains, supervises, and provides daily direction to Cycle Counter(s) to validate cycle count process is performed as scheduled and according to Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) guidelines and standard work.

Researches discrepancies between physical and system count to establish root cause. Performs inventory adjustments and root cause analysis to drive inventory accuracy, minimize future adjustments, and identify areas of opportunity and drive improvements.

Follows all policies, procedures, systems, and best practices regarding inventory to maintain accurate financial information.

Performs physical inventory as needed to ensure accurate inventory.

Works with corporate cycle count team and management to implement corrective action plans and/or policy changes.

Applies Haworth Management System (HMS) tools and methodology to identify, evaluate, and recommend business process and system improvement opportunities.

Continually improves expertise in process improvement techniques and teaches process improvement techniques to others to facilitate change management and negotiate solutions.

Maintains inventory control records for audit purposes.

Publishes, monitors, and analyzes all inventory and warehouse reports to determine if warehouse meets accuracy and count standards. Creates corrective action plans based on report findings.

Ensures warehouse areas are efficiently utilized to maximize space and good housekeeping standards are maintained.

 

 

Do you have these required qualifications?

 

 

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Operations or Finance plus 2 years of experience in inventory management, distribution, supply chain or logistics.
