Starting Rate: $15.02 per hour

License: Work Permit

JOB SUMMARY : Candidate must exhibit a friendly, helpful and courteous manner when dealing with our guests and fellow associates. The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for assembling and disassembling the breakfast buffet, and ensuring that the buffet remains stocked during open hours. Their responsibilities entail greeting guests, offering suggestions and resolving issues and concerns should there be any. Moreover, as a breakfast attendant, it is essential to maintain the cleanliness of different areas and adhere to all the health guidelines and safety protocols.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following :

  • Exhibits a friendly, helpful and courteous manner when dealing with our guests and fellow associates.

  • Opening:

  • Turn on the chafing dish and waffle maker

  • Prepare coffee; Regular, Decaf and hot water air pots.

  • Prepare hot foods; Eggs, Bacons or Sausage.

  • Stock refrigerated foods; yogurt, cream cheese, butter.

  • Set out cereal case and bread case.

  • Ensure that the breakfast buffet remains well-stocked at all times.

  • Provide customers with condiments upon request.

  • Clean and sanitize all counters, tabletops and seating areas after guests depart.

  • Resolving customers’ questions and complaints, if any.

  • Closing:

  • Unplug chafing dish and turn off waffle makers.

  • Remove all food products from buffet, track food on waste log.

  • Replenish cereal case.

  • Replenish waffle mix if need be.

  • Put away all cold and/or dry food products from buffet area.

  • Clean all serving dishes and serving utensils.

  • Clean all appliances in buffet area and kitchen area.

  • Empty and clean all coffee air pots.

  • Re-stock disposables, plates and napkin holders.

  • Clean 3 compartment sink.

  • Move appropriate quantity of frozen items to refrigerator for next day.

  • Track any expired products on the waste log.

  • Turn off all applicable TV’s and lights.

  • Clean all counters, tabletops and seating areas.

  • Empty all trash cans and replace liners. Take trash out to dumpster bin.

  • Sweep and mop the floors.

  • Other duties as assigned.

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES : This job has no supervisory responsibility.

    QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to successfully complete the essential duties of the position with or without reasonable accommodation. Serve Safe and Safety is required as part of the training.

    Minimum qualifications: Some High school.

    Preferred qualifications: High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED). Previous experience cleaning.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation. While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand and walk, use hands and fingers, handle, feel and reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The associate is frequently required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel and crouch. The associate must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

    CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Must obtain and maintain a St. Regis Tribal Gaming Work Permit which requires a criminal background check to be used solely for employment purposes. Successful candidates for employment must submit to and pass a drug test for illegal substances prior to employment being confirmed. In case of a positive result, the candidate is not eligible for employment with the Mohawk Gaming Enterprises. Employment will not begin until process is completed.
