As an operations Group Leader you will be responsible for the safe, reliable, and cost-effective operations of the Ronler Acres wastewater treatment and reclaim (WATR) plant and people. You will closely partner with, System Owner Engineers, Lab group and EHS to manage the technician teams that run the WATR plant in order to maintain compliance with site wastewater permits. This position requires a thorough knowledge of CS business practices and procedures and team management skills. This will include WATR system certification.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Drive execution of routine and non-routing work to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective operations of WATR.

  • Daily management of WATR technician staff as they perform routine and non-standard work activities at WATR, including timecard and vacation review, communicating and enforcing technician expectations.

  • Hold team accountable to deliverables, including but not limited to adherence to CS business processes, timely completion of all required training/certifications, close coordination with engineering system owners.

  • Foster a team culture in which safety, procedural adherence, operational excellence, results orientation and inclusivity are foundational.

  • Partnership with external stakeholders, such Group Leaders (GLs) in other CS disciplines and partnership with stakeholders external to CS (PTD Technology Development, D1 Ops Factory Operations, EHS Environmental Health and Safety, etc.).

  • Attendance at one of two team Passdown meetings per day (morning or evening) is expected.

  • Building and fostering a strong safety culture Developing and executing predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance processes.

The successful candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits:

  • Flexibility with work schedule as needed to facilitate interactions with day and night shift technicians.

  • Using operational metrics to develop continuous improvement roadmaps supporting organizational objectives.

  • Influencing senior management decisions and program implementations.

  • Proven capability to influence and partner with other leaders and Area Managers to improve operational and non-operational results.

  • Leading operation teams in unexpected situations such as safety events, operational impacts, etc.

  • Developing and energizing teams through authentic leadership.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research, and relevant previous job and/or internship experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science degree in any engineering field with 3+ years of experience OR Master of Science degree in any Engineering field OR 6+ years of experience in facilities maintenance and operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with High-Volume Manufacturing Facilities design, operation and maintenance.

  • Management experience in a High-Volume Manufacturing or Technology Development environment

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
