A Day in the Life

As a Principal IT business analyst, you will play an important role to further enhance and roll-out the IT solution mService, used to support repair and logistical processes for medical equipment used in hospitals. You will be responsible for:

• Assessing, designing, and developing enhancements in conjunction with business stakeholders.

• Leading business requirement discussions. Gathering, evaluating, and documenting business needs and requirements and translating these into functional specifications and business process maps for complex changes.

• Participating in project and design reviews to evaluate and ensure that the design being applied meets policies, principles, and standards of Medtronic Global IT.

• Driving changes and enhancements through the change management process, including change coordination, communication with stakeholders, performing functional unit tests, coordinating user acceptance tests, cutover tasks and hyper care support.

• Coordinating development and supporting activities with external partners, building up and maintaining our knowledge repository, and acting as a trusted advisor of Service & Repair IT leadership team.

• Providing 3rd level support activities for functional System Analysis Program (SAP) related issues, which consists of analysing and helping to resolve software related issues escalated by the support team and recommend solutions.

• Working in projects within an international, diverse, and challenging environment.

Must Haves

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree and 7+ years of relevant experience in a similar role

• Working in a methodical and detailed manner

• Excellent communicative skills, especially in English

• Ability to explain technical concepts in clear verbiage to non-technical stakeholders

• Strong background in SAP Customer Service and Sales & Distribution modules

• Experience with gathering, documenting and challenging business requirements

Nice to Haves

• Experience with sales & logistical processes

• Strong sense of ownership and accountability, self-motivation, enthusiasm, positive attitude and perform as a team player

• Experiences in following areas: Webmethods, Agile and Waterfall way of working

• Managing internal and external stakeholders in a global organization
