Tri-County OIC ReEntry Program Manager in HARRISBURG, Pennsylvania

The position of ReEntry Program Manager requires a candidate with supervisory experience, experience providing direct services, and a passion for helping pre-release and post-release individuals navigate the immediate post-release period.

The ideal candidate for this role is someone with a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Social Work, or a related field or an Associate's Degree combined with relevant experience, including lived experience. Your qualifications and experience are highly valued, and you must meet state, federal, and criminal background check requirements and be able to go inside county and state prisons.

The job requires active learning and listening skills, critical thinking, monitoring skills, reading comprehension, written comprehension, and expression, as well as understanding addictions. The candidate must have significant knowledge and experience in justice-involved people, the social forces and systems impacting them, and the available resources. They must also have at least three years of professional experience with re-entry programs or provisions of social services.

The candidate must have two years' experience in program management with multiple programs, staff supervision, program development, and budget management related to Programs. They must display the utmost level of integrity, excellent attention to detail, leadership skills, and conflict management skills, and have strong communication skills, both written and oral.

The job also requires experience working with homeless veterans, non-veterans, and culturally diverse populations, as well as communicating and working effectively with diverse groups of individuals. The candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Your skills and abilities are crucial for this position. As a ReEntry Program Manager, you will need to demonstrate supervision, communication (verbal, written, listening), organizational skills (prioritizing tasks, maintaining case notes), and data collection. Your ability to travel and possess an appropriate and valid state driver's license is also essential.
