Reference #: 4486106 THE POSITION The PA Game Commission has an opening for a Clerical Assistant 2 position.  This position will serve as a contact person and trouble-shooter for any questions or problems relating to the Pennsylvania Automated License System (PALS).

DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this position you will answer the telephones and provide information to the public, issuing agents, county treasurers and field personnel.  These questions will be concerning license sales, account activities, financial reporting through PALS regarding day-to-day issues that may arise, season and bag limits, hunting laws and regulations, and other related subjects.  This position is the first line of public contact and will be responsible to forward calls as necessary to the correct point of contact.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Temporary full-time employment. Work hours are 7:45am to 4:00pm, Monday - Friday, with a 45-minute lunch. Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $34,621 (before taxes). Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (commonwealth title); or Graduation from high school; or An equivalent combination of experience and training. Special Requirements: This position requires keyboarding skills to meet standards for speed and accuracy. Additional Requirements: You must be able to perform essential job functions. How to Apply:
