NJ Employer Farm Laborer in Hammonton, New Jersey
Anticipated period of employment: 06/01/2024 to 08/16/2024.
All applicants must have 3 months experience hand harvesting a perishable crop. Applicants must be able to furnish affirmative job references from recent employers.
Work in inclement weather (rain, heat, cold, hot, humid) weather may fluctuate work hours (+/- ); possible downtimes. Workers will pick blueberries that are dry and according to color, ripeness and firmness. Workers will pick, pack, prune, cultivate blueberries. Workers may lift and carry up to 60 lbs. Workers may also perform general labor farm work such as weeding, pruning, digging, raking, cleaning, watering, and other farm related jobs.See ETA 790/790A for a complete job description.
Only workers meeting all qualifications on the job order should be referred by the Job Service Office. Interested candidates must contact their local employment office to receive a copy of the job order (ETA 790/790A) and applicable attachments. Once the applicant has a copy of the job contract all referrals are made to Sam Mento by phone or email Monday to Friday from 10am to 3pm EST.
