Position responsibilitiesinclude but are not limited to the following: Selecting items from warehouse per customer order and packing/loading on truck, loose or palletized, for delivery Unpacks, examines and routes incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages. Receives and processes all defective parts returned for replacement or credit. Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor. Handle large and awkward sized items, stack, load and unload throughout business day Assist in making arrangements for pick up by the carrier specified on the customer's purchase order, which is conveyed to the shipping clerk by final inspection via the shipping instructions. Assist in maintaining physical control of inventory locations. Willingness to handle products when loading or offloading by hand as needed. Professional communication and representation to customer and public of OTC Operates pallet jacks or hand trucks to convey, move or hoist materials when delivering products or working in an OTC Warehouse. Ability to operate stretch wrap banders. Performs all computer functions necessary to track various aspects of goods. Assist in additional Warehouse roles and duties when needed Qualificationsfor this positioninclude: Familiarity with Fed X and UPS software is preferred. Experience with using a forklift, pallet jacks a plus Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Good time management skills. Basic math skills and/or aptitude. Some computer experience and aptitude. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs., with assistance Must be able to lift, bend, stand and sit for long periods of time. Valid Driver's License Must be willing to submit to a drug test Ability to work effectively with other OTC associates, customers, and vendors.
