Normal workdays are Monday through Thursday. Lunch period is 40 minutes per shift, unpaid. Breaks are two 15-minute per shift. Summary: As a SMT Set Up/Tear Down Operator at Microwave Products Group - Pole/Zero Corporation in West Chester, OH, you will support the military community by being responsible for the setup and teardown of SMT feeders and trolleys in preparation of automated machine run. Primary Responsibilities: Ensure all materials are available for upcoming machine placement (verification of kit and parts). Ensure efficient delivery of parts for machine placement, optimizing machine uptime. Ensure all parts are accounted for and returned to stock in an efficient and timely manner once machine placement is complete. Maintain equipment utilized in machine placement. For example, but not limited to; feeder maintenance, trolley maintenance, feeder and trolley preventive maintenance, general housekeeping. Utilize software to aid in part reconciliation and discrepancy validation. Prepare additional materials as needed for upcoming machine runs (PWB bake out, labeling, solder paste thaw, etc.). Knowledge, skills and abilities strongly preferred include: Understanding of and ability to identify whether automated soldering is acceptable and complies with the needed product quality specifications. Knowledge of surface mount components required. This includes the ability to identify caps, IC's capacitors, diodes, resistors, etc. Must be able to read a parts list and then gather the parts and appropriately apply the parts to the product by accurately interpreting the drawing. Good mechanical aptitude skills Above average computer skills and ability to learn software quickly. Be able to conduct daily work operations with only minimal supervision. Be able to prioritize daily work operations by working with the schedules and planning resources. Be able to effectively communicate with planning personnel, supervision and other department associates. Requirements Include: Must be a US person (US Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder) High school diploma or GED required. Must be able to identify electronic components.
