Description:

We are looking for an open-minded, service-orientated, hardworking professional Senior System administrator to be part of the MI SW department

As a Senior System administrator team member you will be responsible for administrating the company's core virtual and physical infrastructure, on-prem, cloud systems and networking to improve IT engineering systems stability and performance: OS development , System and Engineering IT Administration, Cloud computing (AWS, Azure).

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and evaluate current and future infrastructure initiatives for the highest level of efficiency and performance

• Perform new hardware and Linux\Windows OS installations, patching and upgrades

• Deliver resilient and robust designs – lead and participate in technical discussions across engineering and product teams

• Perform problem diagnosis, troubleshooting and resolution

• Maintain operating systems and associated infrastructure software

• Install and configure software and hardware

• Manage network servers and technology tools

• Set up accounts and workstations

• Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements

• Troubleshoot issues and outages

• Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls

• Upgrade systems with new releases and models

• The ideal candidate will be experienced in working in complex, dynamic IT environments and various system solutions: Installation, configuration, securing troubleshooting, and upgrades of various OS flavors of servers and core systems

Professional requirements:

• Must :

• Proven experience of 7+ years as a Senior System Administrator in a global company

• Proven experience of 5+ years in Linux & Windows OS development

• Distinct knowledge in Microsoft core service such as of AD, DC, DNS, DHCP

• Virtualization : Deep knowledge in VMware solutions

• Cloud : Administration, setup & maintenance, security, and troubleshooting of remote production systems in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)

• Backup : Experienced with backup and recovery solutions

• Scripting development: Experienced in scripting development (Bash, Perl)

• Networking : Hands-on experience in networking configuration, security & setup and networking devices such as Switches, Firewall, Network cards, etc.

• Desired:

• Certifications: System Administration, OS development, AWS cloud, Azure cloud

• Experience in system security

• Experience in storage management

• Experience in backup/recovery

• Experience in Monitoring system configuration
