Robert Half Administrative Assistant in Hadley, Massachusetts

Description We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team based in Hadley, Massachusetts. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity within the telecom provider industry. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for a wide range of administrative tasks, ensuring smooth and efficient operations within the office.

Responsibilities:

• Receive and attend to all visitors, providing excellent customer service at all times.

• Answer telephone calls promptly, professionally and courteously, directing calls as necessary.

• Organize and manage word processors, files, and faxes to ensure all information is easily accessible and up-to-date.

• Assist other employees with diverse projects, contributing to the overall success of the team.

• Utilize mail merging, pivot tables, and presentation design to facilitate effective communication and data presentation.

• Maintain organizational awareness and contribute to a positive, efficient workplace environment.

• Handle administrative and office support duties, contributing to the smooth running of the office.

• Resolve any admin related inquiries and issues in a timely and effective manner.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of administrative processes and procedures.

• Perform other administrative duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability. Requirements • Demonstrated experience in an administrative or office assistant role

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

• Exceptional organizational and time management skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

• Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy in work

• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion

• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Demonstrated understanding of organizational structures and processes

• High school diploma or equivalent education level

• Flexibility to adapt to changing work demands and schedules

• Proactive problem-solving and decision-making abilities

• Experience with office equipment such as printers, scanners, and fax machines

• Ability to handle administrative tasks such as filing, typing, copying, and binding

• Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor.
