Jabil Traffic Analyst II (Freight Audit and Payment) in Guadalajara, Mexico

JOB SUMMARY Responsible to ensure that carriers are paid appropriately in accordance with the negotiated payment terms and to make sure that the operations of the company are not put at risk.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Clear the unmatched invoice queue (Transfer Freight invoices to the correct hierarchy level) in TMS.

  • Run/setup report to identify those sites with invoices that have been approved but pending for payment to review the status and push the sites to send the funds to the carriers.

  • Review the aging of invoices pending of approval with carriers and sites.

  • Update and enter all billing details and related information accurately into TMS; filing and/or scanning all related paperwork accurately and efficiently (like weight certificates, PDF Invoices, etc) when applicable.

  • Upload PDF invoices for carriers without EDI connectivity in TMS.

  • Work with Carriers and Operations to resolve any discrepancies (including surcharges, rate changes, and payment terms) for invoices in Audit status.

  • Process Freight and accessorial invoices in our TMS (Dispute, approve reject invoices)

  • Extract invoices from TMS to Coupa on a weekly basis.

  • Run/setup report to identify those sites with invoices that have been approved and extracted but pending for payment to review the status and push the sites to send the funds to the carriers.

  • Monitor customer service issues, ensuring mutual resolution, while maintaining excellent relationships with clients, carriers, and other business units, escalating as appropriate.

  • Partner with corporate Accounts Payable department on the approval and payment of invoices.

  • Monitor, manage, and resolve freight payment issues from the group Freight Payment email boxes.

  • Identify patterns/trends and resolve with applicable parties.

  • Monitor and research root cause of rating errors on manufacturing systems including 3PL FAP providers’ systems, TMS systems, Transportation database, and file.

  • Monitor, manage, & resolve freight payment inquiries from the TMS Dashboard

  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONSKNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

  • Knowledge of Accounts Payable principles and procedures

· Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.· Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.· Ability to operate a personal computer including using a Windows based operating system and related software.· Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil’s software packages.· Ability to write simple correspondence. Read and understand visual aid.· Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.· Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.· Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.· Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.· Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.
