JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Utilize standard engineering blueprints and drawings.
Form trim and seal structural members using aerodynamic smoothing compound.
Microshave, counterbore and uses various fasteners such as Hi shear rivets, Cherry Max rivets, Rivnuts, Lockbolts, and Jobolts and composilocs.
Identify and use various fasteners correctly.
Demonstrates completion of all PMT Travelers and operations.
Perform work as assigned utilizing routine and/or non-routine work cards and/or service bulletins within estimated or budgeted hours and within FAA standards of quality with assistance from more experienced fabricator.
With direction of other experienced mechanics, assist with performance of maintenance and/or repairs as appropriate
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Must have own tools as required by company tool list.
Read, write and understand the English language.
Must be able to learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, repair manuals, etc.
Proficient in use of hand tools such as drill motors, screw gun, die grinder and routers.
Demonstrates ability to understand standard engineering blueprints and drawings.
Demonstrates ability to form trim and seal structural members using aerodynamic smoothing compound.
Ability to Microshave, counterbore and use various fasteners such as Hi shear rivets, Cherry Max rivets, Rivnuts, Lockbolts, and Jobolts and composilocs.
