Position Role Type:

Under direct supervision of CNC Setup Machinist and Manufacturing Manager; operates various CNC Milling & Turning machines, inspects pars for accuracy, records data, and deburrs parts.

Compensation:

• $1,500 Sign on Bonus*

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Loads and unloads piece parts and final assemblies into CNC Milling Machines for manufacturing processes Operates equipment to produce parts as assigned and monitors machines to detect equipment or process errors, stops machines if necessary to prevent failures, and informs supervisor of job status as required.

  • Inspects parts produced to ensure compliance with specifications indicated on blueprint or other instructions, induces visual and measurement inspection using a variety of inspection instruments.

  • Records data from inspection and follows all paperwork procedures.

  • Maintains machines and equipment used including breaking down tooling and fixtures, cleaning equipment, replenishing machine coolant supply, and monitoring machine to detect preventative or other maintenance that may be required.

  • Performs other assembly and finishing work as assigned within the department or in other departments as workload determines, includes deburring, hardware, etc.

  • Maintains a clean and safe work area and adheres to all safety and environmental regulations and requirements.

  • Performs other related duties as required or assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a high school diploma with a minimum of 1 years of relevant experience. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, years of relevant experience is typically required.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Completion of CNC Machine Operating technical school program.

  • 1 year machine operator experience
