Compensation and Schedule for the Medical Assistant
Medical Assistant – Full-time, $19-$23 per hour, Monday – Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Join a busy medical office with a positive working environment!
Required Qualifications of the Medical Assistant
3+ years of recent medical assistant experience required
Cardiology experience highly preferred
Medical Assistant diploma or certificate required
High school diploma or GED required
Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screen
Responsibilities of the Medical Assistant
- Greet and room patients
Take basic vitals
Enter information into EMR system
Prep patients for provider
Provide patient education regarding health issues and upcoming procedures
Help with patient paperwork
Answer phones
Cover front office duties when needed
