Serve as a Contracts Manager for F-35 Sustainment Contracts team. The selected candidate will be responsible for a team of contracts management personnel as well as for performing all facets of contracting, proposal development, negotiation, and contract administration. Ensures contracts are negotiated and administered in accordance with FAR/DFAR or other terms as applicable, statutory laws and Lockheed Martin policies and procedures. Provides risk assessments and offers alternate approaches to mitigate risks, including contract language.

Maintains record of negotiations, accurate and complete files of contractual documents and correspondence. Prepares and presents briefings to management and customers. Understands and implements Lockheed Martin policies and procedures. Develops and applies advanced concepts, techniques, standards and solutions to unusually complex problems. Provide contractual guidance to junior employees. Overtime and travel may be required to support program needs. Establishes effective working relationships with internal and external customers. Ability to demonstrate computer competency and the ability to work in various systems to update, maintain or extract contract data.

Basic Qualifications:

• Contract Management Experience

• DoD Contract Experience

• Experience working multiple contract types (FFP, FPIF, CPFF, CPIF)

• Experience working with cross-functional teams and interfacing with customers

• Bachelors degree or higher from accredited college in a related discipline

Desired Skills:

• Experience with ECS, APTS and eIWTA systems and MS Office

• Experience working F-35 contract actions

• Full Spectrum Leadership skills, especially mentoring and coaching

• Ability to comprehend complex financial and business concepts

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
