Civil Litigation Attorney (Contract) – Fort Worth, TX

Are you a seasoned civil attorney with a passion for litigation?

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented attorney to join our team in Fort Worth, Texas. This contract role offers a dynamic work environment with a blend of office-based work (1-2 days/week) and remote flexibility.

In this role, you will:

• Manage and oversee a diverse caseload of oil & gas litigation matters.

• Leverage your expertise to provide exceptional legal advice and guidance to clients on industry-specific issues.

• Lead effective discovery processes, ensuring all details are meticulously addressed.

• Draft and prepare compelling legal documents and writing samples.

• Be a cornerstone of our trial preparation process, taking ownership of all aspects, not just the courtroom limelight.

• Contribute a minimum of 30 hours weekly to ensure case progress.

• Be a team player, open to receiving guidance and collaborating with senior staff.

  Requirements

The Ideal Candidate:

• Licensed to practice law in the State of Texas with a strong track record in litigation.

• Plus if you have an understanding of oil & gas law and the intricacies of the industry.

• Demonstrated experience with legal research, discovery procedures, and motion practice.

• Excellent writing and communication skills, adept at crafting clear and concise legal documents.

• A meticulous and organized individual with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach.

• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and manages multiple tasks efficiently.
