General Purpose of Job This position is responsible for providing information, assistance, and technical resources to cooperative system teams. The position is responsible for having detailed knowledge on configuring, maintaining, and updating the full suite of iVue products and modules from NISC. The position must have a thorough understanding of how various software applications work and how data is stored to ensure that reporting and analysis are accurate. The position is responsible to ensure that disaster recovery plans for the iVue systems are documented and tested on a regularly defined interval. The position develops procedures and training manuals as required to complete and document job responsibilities. This position must evaluate business systems and their configuration to ensure alignment with organizational requirements and Identify process improvement opportunities based on business processes. Education Minimum 4 Year / Bachelors Degree Major: Information Technology or Business Administration with a concentration in Management of Information Systems, accounting, or related field. Experience Minimum Four (4) years’ experience in any of the following: Technical support in an accounting/costumer billing system; producing business reports with data validation; using SQL, Crystal Reports, Mosaic, and/or PowerBl for business reporting; managing and administering iVue ERP including user privilege administration, or working with HTML, CSS and JSON to configure and enhance software solutions. Preferred Two (2) years of experience reviewing programs with system programmers to help ensure product quality and function. Education and/or Experience Notes Job related experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis. Other Requirements * Ability to work irregular hours for assignment completion and flexibility to change scheduling and report to work on short notice during emergency situations. * Ability to operate a variety of office equipment, including a personal computer, printers, copy machines, telephone, and fax machine. * Normal work hours shall be eight (8) hours between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. * Some business travel for training and development. * Successful completion of pre-employment background check, physical and drug screen. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities * Ability to complete assignments and meet deadlines working independently and/or in a team environment. * Ability to exercise good judgment, sound reasoning skills and discretion in making independent decisions commensurate with responsibilities. * Effective planning, prioritization and organizational skills. * Ability to produce clear and concise system documentation with appropriate detail to support full system lifecycle. * Ability to maintain highly confidential information. * Ability to multi-task and effectively manage stress and pressure through changing priorities calmly in all situations. * Ability to successfully use a variety of business intelligence tools to produce electronic reports, graphs and dashboards. * Ability to understand entity relationship diagrams and vendor support documentation to facilitate accurate business intelligence products. * Demonstrated listening, verbal and written communication skills; accurately prepare all types of business correspondence, design and produce reports; ability to analyze and interpret job related business periodicals and technical manuals. * Excellent customer service orientation and people skills for effective interaction with others and the ability to express technical information clearly and simply while working closely with other personnel. * Knowledge of credit, debit, and purchase card operations; point-of-sale, retail or company store operations; electronic data interchange (EDI); three-way matching (purchase order, receipt log, invoice); time clock/badge system and imaging software. * Proficiency in the operation of personal computers; hardware and software applications including MS Office products. * Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws. * Strong SQL programming skills. * Thorough understanding of multiple computer platform functions to include operating systems, utilities, and applications. * Understanding system backups and recovery strategies. * Understanding of application security models and application of data governance strategies. * Working knowledge of accounts payable/accounts receivable including, but not limited to, payroll, general ledger, customer billing, cash register, purchase orders, fixed assets, work orders, service orders, document imaging and system interfaces. * English is the primary business language. Second language in Spanish is desirable. Ensure software updates and patches are applied on a regular basis coordinating with end users on testing efforts and deployment schedules. Serve as advocate of change for ensuring that newer functionality is explored and utilized as appropriate by business. * Desk checking reporting efforts and support of data analysis and business intelligence efforts. Support of Reporting and data analysis efforts. Assist in the creation of data warehouses and data lake environments as subject matter expert on iVue systems and data. Support, maintain and monitor interfaces to iVue System. * Manage, update, maintain and audit user security for iVue System.
