Here is what you will be doing
Move bulk materials between rail cars and trailers using a forklift
Daily load/ unloading of materials to/from trailers and rail cars
Ability to understand and follow operating procedures and policies
Ability to operate or learn to operate rail car loading systems and equipment
Ability to perform work safely and productively
Ability and interested in being cross trained on all functions at facility
Enforces safety policies and procedures with other Team Members and visitors
Ability to perform general maintenance on equipment
Assist with other duties within the facility (general maintenance, landscape upkeep and painting)
Requirements of a successful Operator
Forklift experience (2 years) required
Heavy equipment experience a plus
Read, write, and understand English
Basic math skills
Computer skills (light data entry)
Valid Driver's License
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Qualified candidates must be able to pass an extensive background check, Pre-Employment Drug Screen and Physical.
Here are some of the physical requirements for this role
Ability to work outside in ALL weather conditions (heat, rain, cold temps)
Physically able to climb up and down rail equipment/ladders safely
Willing to work with break bulk and dry bulk materials
Can carry at least fifty (50) pounds
