Job Description:

SUMMARY: This position is responsible for performing a wide variety of administrative duties related to grain elevator operations. Specific duties include obtaining and grading grain samples to test for weight, moisture content, and foreign materials; weighing trucks and issuing scale tickets to delivery drivers; organizing various documents and entering information in Microsoft Excel and Tyson-specific systems; interacting with farmers and ensuring their questions and concerns are appropriately addressed; communicating with Tyson Foods Local Grain Services, to include team members in operations and accounting; providing leadership to part-time and seasonal team members working in the scale house; and performing other administrative duties as assigned by the Manager Grain Elevator. REQUIREMENTS: Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience: 1+ years of grain elevator experience preferred. Computer Skills: Basic computer skills required, to include the ability to generate and work in Microsoft Excel. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Special Skills: Organization, time management, and customer service skills required. Travel: NA Supervisory: NA
