Job Description

A private equity client of ours is looking for experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to join their team in El Segundo, CA. This is a one year contract with possible extensions and requires going onsite 3-4 days per week. The typical is 3 days a week, however ever once in a while they will ask for 4. This person is joining a team of 6 that is responsible for developing applications that support Risk Analytics and Portfolio Management functions. They develop the series of tools that help Portfolio Manager do their jobs. This role has a large emphasis on data and integrations of data, however the focus is full stack software engineering within .Net and Python. This person should of experience working within the asset management industry and more specifically with the front office (close with close proximity to clients - portfolio managers, risk analytics, trading desks, etc.). Communication and strong relationship building skills are critical.

Skills and Requirements

7+ years of Full Stack Development experience

3+ years of experience with Python

Experience with Snowflake

Experience with Data Visualization tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Pyramid or something equivalent

Experience working within the financial services industry, private equity and or/asset management

5+ years of experience with .Net development (they are using .Net Core)

Working experience in Agile Delivery Model Experience working with investment management platforms BRS Aladdin, Charles River and/or Alluve Everest

Experience working with insurance asset management null
