Computer Scientist - Cloud Computing
ATEC is looking for a Sr. level Computer Scientist to support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in cloud computing. The candidate will provide direct, on-site support to the Test and Evaluation (T&E) Team at the William J. Hughes Technical Center (WJHTC) in Egg Harbor Township, NJ.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Test/Development/Integration Environments
Lead Development and Integration of a test environment to mirror operational needs
Identify and incorporate hardware and software to support OT test environment and automation testing
Technical understanding of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA); Java Message Service (JMS); Web Services (NOT Web Page Development); Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) Communication Protocol
Provide Configuration Management
Virtual Test Environments
IESP

Infrastructure
Provide networking support which includes development, configuration, implementation and maintenance of multi-network, multi-user Local Area Networks (LAN)
Maintain remote management services

EDUCATION/YEARS of EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related field and fifteen (15) years of related work experience.
5 years of relevant experience may be substituted for the Bachelor's Degree.
Master's Degree or MBA in related field may be substituted for Bachelor's degree and 3 years experience.
PhD in related field may be substituted for Bachelor's degree and 7 years experience
SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:
US Citizenship or documented proof of eligibility to work in the US
Applicants selected will be subject to a government investigation
Has been living in the US for at least the past 3 years
WORK ENVIRONMENT and PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Works indoors in office conditions primarily sitting/standing for prolonged periods
PAY RANGE:
- $95,000 – $110,000
