CEVA people are passionate about supply chain management.JOB SUMMARY:Oversee all aspects of high volume accounts relating to the transportation of goods and the maintenance of the client's needs. Work with clients to establish detailed profiles and procedures that properly represent their export process. Models and acts in accordance with our guiding principles and core values.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:Trace and track customer's freight.Maintain contact with the airlines, trucking companies and any agents that will be handling the freight to ensure shipper and consignees are aware of any problems.Provide proof of delivery.Responsible for processing pick-up requests and entering data in the system.Respond to and handle all daily customer service requests.Notify customers of any delays in shipping and dispatching points.Enter shipment data in system.Prepare rates and invoices House Air Way Bills.Prepare and assist with quotes for customers.Run sales reports, maintain and file reports.Perform other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Experience & Skills: Essential RequirementsEducation & Certifications ExperienceHigh School Diploma or GED required.Four to six years related experience.One to three years industry experience preferred.Specialist Knowledge & SkillsMust be able to read, write and speak English fluently.Ability to communicate and interact effectively with multi-functional and diverse backgrounds.Computer SkillsPC literate.Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and job specific software applications.OTHER ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Accurate typing skills and/or data entry skills.Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using units of U.S. or international currency, weight, volume and distance measurements.Manages complex transactional or emotional customer situations promptly and professionally meeting commitments for service and assistance.Read, analyze and interpret complex procedures or regulations, and write correspondence and procedural documents.Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.Recommends solutions to common problems.Gives and welcomes feedback, contributes to building a positive team spirit.Consistently at work and on time.CEVA operates in a multicultural, global environment and is a richly diverse organization operating seamlessly as one company.
