As our Product Security & Privacy Architect, you’ll support HID’s success by:
Advising product development teams regarding the implementation of cybersecurity controls and the design of privacy enhancing technologies
Reviewing existing implementations in both hardware and software related to security and privacy to determine deficiencies, vulnerabilities/risks, or enhancements needed
Working with internal privacy experts, development, legal, and compliance teams to ensure privacy policies are correctly implemented within products and solutions
Assisting in the research and design of new technologies, architectures, and solutions which will enhance product security and privacy
What we will love about your background:
Product security certification desired (CISSP, CSSLP, CEH, CIPT, CPP or similar)
Experience with embedded software security architectures
Experience with HSM, Secure API, Cloud services security concepts
Working knowledge of cryptography and security practices
Your Experience and Education include:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university (B.A., B.S. or equivalent in Engineering) – a Master’s degree is preferred
7+ years of experience product / device security domain
Excellent command of at least one of relevant standards or frameworks (ISO27001, ISO27002, BSIMM, Common Criteria, FIPS-140, FIPS-201, etc.)
Knowledge about privacy protection frameworks (e.g., GDPR)
Experience with security assessments, reviews and evaluations of products / solutions
