Robert Half is currently working with a client in the Fashion industry near Middlesex County NJ in a search for a Data Analyst. The Data Analyst will be responsible for the preparation of financial reports that serve as summary information for managers. As the Data Analyst you will be compiling, interpreting, and reporting information on a variety of data types. This Data Analyst position is for someone who is deadline driven and highly analytical.

How you will make an impact

• Assisting in pulling/generating reports for employee turnover, bonus achievements, budgeting and forecasting

• Working with different internal business partners to collect data

• Compiling and analyzing the data to be modeled and presented to C-suite individuals

  Requirements

-.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• High attention to detail as well as critical thinking and problem-solving skills

• Prior experience with Microsoft Excel: spreadsheet and reporting applications, inclusive of queries, pivot tables, and V-lookups

-.Microsoft Powerpoint experience for presentations to internal employees and higher ups

• Understanding of various data models

  • Wide-ranging capabilities in data management and manipulation

• 2+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, data analysis or similar role

• Able to work independently with a minimal amount of oversight

• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

• BS/BA in Accounting, finance, or economics
