The Role

Your Role and Responsibilities

  • Lead communications team, agency, and overall budget for Communications activities in Germany.

  • Manage the development and design of communications engagement strategy to help ensure that Kyndryl Germany and its leaders are recognized as thought leaders, both internally and externally.

  • Ensure the development, creation and deployment of strategic content that empowers leaders to be seen, heard, and understood, deepens stakeholders’ understanding of and belief in Kyndryl driving a consistent narrative with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.

  • Work hand-in-hand with Kyndryl practice leaders, spokespeople and subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather stories and information that support the thought leadership positioning, as well as internal engagement and pride in Kyndryl.

  • Manage the development, creation and shaping of briefing documents, talking points and related materials for German Kyndryl leaders. Create informative and interesting press releases, press kits, newsletters, and related communications materials. Ensure content-fit-for-leaders and content-fit for-audience, including reviews and signoffs from SMEs and executive sponsors.

  • Assess potential speaking opportunities and pitch new speaking opportunities. Shape and execute the executive’s speaking role, and work with event organization on all content and amplification plans as well as logistics details. Provide onsite or real-time support as needed.

  • Create and maintain executive engagements calendar in partnership with executives and broader Corporate Affairs team.

  • Analyze audience to understand strategic positioning, key messages and appropriate mediums that will resonate. Utilize data to understand behaviors and sentiment and create programs that engage audiences with relevant information through a content and delivery ecosystem.

  • Develop deep understanding of Kyndryl employee cohorts and develop relevant content to inspire and motivate them around Kyndryl's mission and purpose.

  • Establish and execute programs that develop and foster Kyndryl's culture and its customer-centric purpose. Design plans, including social tactics, to inform employees and drive sense of belonging.

  • Measure and assess data in order to evaluate and evolve approaches to continually improve the process of communicating with cohorts. Tactics will include use of social strategies and other contemporary platforms and applying sentiment analyst to engage and inform internal audiences.

  • Establish, maintain and take care of a solid internal and external network.

Who You Are

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

· Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Communications or Journalism

· Possess at least 10+ years of hands-on experience in a similar / relevant position and function.

· Hands-on experience working in an international environment with various diverse backgrounds & cultures.

· Experience working with senior leadership and executive teams; ability to provide advice, counsel and articulate an informed point-of-view to senior leaders.

· Strong communications strategy, planning and project management skills and experience. Ability to manage various pressing priorities and timeline. Results-focused.

· Strong influencing and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

· Ability to work in a team setting.

· Strong command of the English language.

· Experience in Government Affairs is a plus.
