Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma IT Supervisor of Commerce Applications (Gaming) in Durant, Oklahoma
Job Purpose or Goals
The Supervisor oversees the provisioning of the complete range of end-user or revenue generating devices required by Retail or Casino Operations. You will report to the IT Senior Manager, Commerce Applications.
Tasks:
You will provide business systems support including a portfolio of distinct applications and hardware products specific to revenue generating entities.
Monitor business systems to ensure high availability in a 24/7 environment and ensure data backup procedures are in place and functioning properly.
Work with partners to define business and systems requirements for new technology implementations and work with other managers and senior managers to ensure that the IT services are made available to customers and departments.
Help define and report business systems Measurements, define actions to improve the metrics and implement best practice processes.
You will perform IT project lead role to ensure IT resources are provisioned and used accordingly. May contribute to company IT purchases.
Suggest drafts and modifications for all procedures.
Identify cause and corrective measures of computer and network problems (hardware, software, user access)
Perform quality control checks and develop documentation and diagrams.
You will manage IT staffing, including recruitment, guidance, scheduling, development, and disciplinary actions.
Perform other tasks as may be assigned.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or 4 years related experience.
Broad applications familiarity and skills
Familiarity with networks, and IT systems and protocols
Broad knowledge in Casino Management System, Hospitality systems, Point of Sale systems management, integrations or operations.
Knowledge in Gaming, Retail, F&B, or Hospitality operations technical knowledge in information technology hardware, software, applications and in-depth knowledge of end-user computing services including service desk processes metrics, end-user expectation management, and managerial skills to oversee environment.
Five (5) years directly related experience in an analyst or engineer role At least one (1) year managing teams in a 24/7 environment with project/program management experience
