Citigroup Early Careers Program Manager (UAE Nationals Preferred) in Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Job Purpose:

This position is within the Citi International Early Careers Team which comprises talent acquisition and program management. The job holder will support the management of a specific group of Citi’s early career populations through managing well-executed programs. The role also includes involvement with regional and global recruitment and development projects. Program managers have a close working relationship with the business aligned talent acquisition partners.

The International Early Careers team directly supports Citi businesses in the attraction, selection and program management of graduate, apprenticeship and MBA hires.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support the management of a specific group of Citi’s analyst and associate populations through managing well-executed programs.

  • Act as the HR point of contact for specifically assigned populations according to business area and/or geography.

  • Responsible for organising and executing effective rotations and placements within the specific business areas to ensure that both individual development needs and business needs are met.

  • Close partnership with business stakeholders to innovate and improve programs.

  • Work with Early Career Learning team on execution of training programs.

  • Responsible for initiating, monitoring and overseeing the performance management process for program participants.

  • Support the mid and long term career development of the early career populations by providing career coaching.

  • Work closely with HR Business Partners to solve issues related to program populations.

  • Partner with HR Business Partners/Advisors and regional compensation teams to complete the year-end performance management and compensation process for program participants.

  • Ensure that all program participants and managers within specific business areas are fully trained and briefed on all aspects of the program life-cycle.

  • Support talent acquisition team regionally and globally on development project initiatives.

  • Create analyst mentoring schemes and development opportunities throughout the program.

  • Attend Early Careers recruitment campus events.

  • Involvement with Early Careers marketing projects.

Knowledge / Experience:

  • Recruitment and/or program management experience required.

  • Understanding of the banking industry and culture an advantage.

  • Understanding of specific developmental needs of early careers populations.

  • Fluency in Arabic desirable.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
