About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for a Duty Manager to join the Front Office team in Jumeirah Al Qasr . The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:

  • Represent management of the hotel outside regular office hours, overseeing front office colleagues during overnight shifts to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.

  • Ensure adherence to all relevant policies and procedures by front office colleagues.

  • Manage the JI loyalty program, including addressing pending points and conducting training sessions.

  • Attend daily handover briefings and departmental communication meetings.

  • Monitor daily booking situations and handle guest bookings in case of overbooking.

  • Maintain cleanliness of lobby and entrance areas, coordinating with Housekeeping, Lobby Ambassadors and Concierge as needed.

  • Assist team leaders with tasks such as checking registration cards and group check-ins.

  • Document major incidents and important guest feedback in the report.

  • Regularly check and maintain input standards (guest profiles, market, source, and channel codes), reporting any issues for improvement to the Assistant Front Office Manager.

  • Conduct appraisals and Bi-Monthly Feedback Sessions as directed by the Front Office Manager.

About You:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficient in English and a second language (Russian, Spanish, German, Arabic or French) is required for this role.

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Duty Manager or 2 years' experience as a Team Leader in a reputed hospitality brand.

  • Working proficiency of Microsoft Office products, Opera PMS (Cloud), and HotSoS.
