Amergis RN Labor and Delivery - Rotating - Devils Lake in Devils Lake, North Dakota

$2314 Gross Weekly for 36

Department: LDRP RN

Certifications Required: BLS, NRP

  • of L&D Beds: 7 beds on the unit

  • Do you follow AWHONN guidelines for ratios?: 1:1-2

  • Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Obstetric, L&D, antepartum, triage, postpartum MgSo4, Pregnancy; Gestational hypertension, Gestational diabetes

  • Are RNs required to titrate drips?: Yes

  • Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Pitocin, mag

  • Is there a Charge Nurse on each shift? Does the charge nurse take an assignment?: Charge nurse

  • Are there nurse aids/surgical techs on this unit? Duties?: 1 OB scrub tech scheduled at a time

  • Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?): 7a-7p, 7p-7a // Team scheduling, will work with block scheduling

  • Weekend Requirements: Every third

  • Holiday Requirements: As needed

  • Floating Requirements: Postpartum; other med/surg, PCU, ICU, ED, Psych units as 1:1 sitter or helping hands

  • How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation?: 1 week

    Radius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.

    RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
