Key Responsibilities
Implementing Behavioral Interventions:
- Carry out behavior intervention plans designed by BCBAs.
- Use Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques to encourage positive behaviors and reduce problematic behaviors.
- Record data on client progress and behavior in real-time during sessions.
Data Collection and Reporting:
- Collect accurate and detailed data on client behaviors, progress, and challenges.
- Maintain thorough and organized records.
- Communicate findings and observations to supervising BCBAs.
Client Interaction:
- Work directly with clients in various settings, including home, school, or clinical environments.
- Develop a positive and supportive relationship with clients and their families.
- Assist clients with daily living skills, social skills, and communication.
Training and Professional Development:
- Attend training sessions and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in ABA.
- Participate in regular supervision meetings with BCBAs to review cases and receive feedback.
Adherence to Ethical Guidelines:
- Follow the ethical guidelines and standards set by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
