Equitrans Midstream Instrumentation Technician/II/Sr in Dawson, West Virginia
We have an exciting opportunity for an Instrumentation Technician/II/Sr in our Dawson, WV location. This role operates and maintains electronic instrumentation, electromechanical, and electrohydraulic apparatuses that are used for operational and environmental testing of mechanical, structural, or electrical equipment.
Your tasks and responsibilities include:
Maintain a safe operating environment
Assists with installation and commissioning of new compressor stations and facilities.
Basic knowledge of: National electric code, installs, programs, inspects, troubleshoots, and adjusts electrical and mechanical, instrumentation, and related systems.
Interprets schematics, performs basic programming for instrumentation and control systems.
Basic knowledge of PLCs, I/O, PID VFDs, and RTUs.
Tests overpressure protection devices and circuits.
May perform other duties in another classification, as directed

Associates degree in electronics, or vocational certification in Electrical/Electron (an equivalent of education and experience will be considered in lieu of degree)
The Instrumentation Tech/II/Sr roles require at least 1, 3, or 4 years of electrical/instrumentation experience respectively
Computer skills, including MS Word and Excel
Mechanical/electrical skills
Troubleshooting skills
Valid driver's license
Must be available for call outs 24/7
Ability to pass a physical capabilities test (which includes, but is not limited to, lifting and carrying 70 lbs., walking 1/2 mile at various inclines, etc.) necessary to demonstrate the physical ability to perform the essential functions of this job
The anticipated salary range for the Instrumentation Technician positions is $38.80/hr to $45.50/hr plus a total rewards package that includes:
