Kforce ServiceNow SACM/CMDB Architect in Dallas/Ft Worth, Texas

Kforce has a client in search of a ServiceNow SACM/CMDB Architect in Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas (TX). Essential Job Functions:

  • Works independently to architect, design, develop the Service Asset & Configuration Management

  • Performs feasibility analysis on potential future ServiceNow projects

  • Interacts with key technical resources and stakeholders in order to understand the technology employed, the business complexity as related to the IT requirements and validates the proposed technical architecture and solution

  • May complete or review documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance

  • May interface with stakeholders to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications

  • Resolves a wide range of issues in imaginative as well as practical ways

  • Solutions problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors

  • Operates with broad latitude for unreviewed actions and decisions

  • Interacts with senior internal and external personnel

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, Master's degree preferred

  • Minimum 10 years IT related experience

  • Required 10 or more years developing/designing applications and solutions, at least 3 years with the ServiceNow platform and applications

  • Prior experience developing through the Agile Scrum method is desirable

  • Has a full understanding of ServiceNow and ITIL best practices and serves as an expert on the capabilities of the ServiceNow platform

  • The list of ServiceNow applications/areas with required experience includes, but is not limited to: Configuration Management, Asset Management, Change Management, Incident Management, Problem Management, Service Catalog, and Service Portal, Test Management, Automated Testing, Reporting/Performance Analytics, SLA/OLAs, and Security through ACLs

  • Advanced computer software skills

  • Development skills includes JavaScript, Jelly/Angular JS, SOAP/REST API, Business Rules, Script Includes, and workflows

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to lead and direct multiple projects simultaneously; ability to delegate work to subordinate or less experienced team members; proven leadership ability

  • Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
