Baylor Scott & White Health Supv Access Services in Dallas, Texas
The Supervisor Access Services supervises and leads access services staff to ensure accurate and timely input of all patient demographic and payor information. The Supervisor maintains appropriate staffing levels, ensures new and refresher training is delivered timely and serves as a resource to access and non-access staff with regard to revenue cycle operations.
The Supervisor Access Services is responsible for scheduling and staff, provides training and mentoring to ensure consistency in performance and following established policies/procedures, responsible and accountable for overseeing daily operations/work-flows as well as customer and department satisfaction, and serves as a Role Model for staff in maintaining effective communication with internal and external customers including employees, patients, guests, insurance companies, employers, doctors and Hospital personnel. Interacts as a team member representing Patient Access Services, serves as a member of designated committees, immediately reports any performance, productivity and/or behavioral related issues regarding staff to management for review and conducts quality reviews and report assignments as required to ensure compliance and departmental standards.
The ideal Supervisor Access Services candidate has basic knowledge of medical and coding terminology and the leadership skills to lead a team in a fast paced challenging environment.
