*PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES* * Organizing, coordinating, and overseeing the day-to-day operation of a home residential program * Implementing Y.E.S. The Arc policies and procedures for building and maintaining a high-quality therapeutic residential program, designed to meet the individual social and emotional needs of our members * Assisting in the development and implementation of goals and plans defined in each member\'s Individual Service Plan * Ensuring that the residential staff have the support and supplies needed to assist members in carrying out activities * Recognizing potential crises and intervening in and/or resolving crisis situations * Keeping and maintaining records and documentation as required * Ensuring fire safety, public health, and licensing standards are maintained as stated in the Y.E.S. The Arc operational manual * Participating in all team meetings and related in-service training and conducting shift change meetings as required * Acting as an advocate to assigned members in setting and achieving goals * Communicating with the Department of Developmental Disabilities and assures compliance with all licensing requirements * Developing staff schedules and assignments * Providing a model of leadership and respect to all staff, members, and visitors.
