We are expanding our team, and we are looking for engineers that are at the start of their career. We are looking for people that will not only write code but will have a meaningful impact on the direction of products and features that we are building.

The team in Copenhagen is working on products that provide durability (prevention of data loss), high availability (making sure that services are up and running in presence of failures), orchestration (ensuring optimal utilization of our hardware) and many other aspects that are crucial to always provide smooth operation of the Azure Cloud.

Responsibilities

This is an entry-level position, and Azure team will help you to learn and grow as you work. As a junior software engineer your responsibilities will be:

  • Design, develop, test and support features and solutions for highly scalable services.

  • Develop high quality secure and compliant solutions.

  • Support highly available services used by millions of users on a daily basis.

  • Analyze how your features are performing in production to learn and make the product better ​for our customers.

  • Pair and participate in code reviews with other engineers in your team​.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or have completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business or related field.

  • Ability to show an understanding of one or more OOP languages including but not limited to: C#, Java, C/C++, Python or Rust.

  • Ability to show an understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • Ability to work in across-teamenvironment and to collaborate with other colleagues.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience including relatedsoftware engineering internships.
