JPMorgan Chase Instructional Designer-Vice President in Columbus, Ohio

We are looking for a creative and driven content designer who can help us inspire and develop leaders at all levels of the organization. You will have a strong affinity for content design and learning methodologies, excellent communication skills, and will be passionate about helping leaders maximize the potential and possibilities for their team, their business and themselves. In this role, you will be able to use your content design skills across multiple learning formats, levels of leaders and work alongside a passionate and dedicated team.

Leadership Edge develops the firm's 53,000 managers worldwide at all levels across each line of business, function and region to create a strong culture for 250,000 employees across the firm. We bring learning to life through in-person, online programs and continuous development with innovative, experiential, social and formal methods of learning. Leadership Edge content covers a wide range of topics, for example: emotional intelligence, feedback and coaching, inclusive teams, and more. Through targeted open enrollment, Leadership Edge delivers the right learning experiences at the right time to managers and leaders of various proficiency levels.

Reporting into the Head of Management Design, you will partner with the team on the design, management and ongoing evaluation of programs and development experiences, ensuring that the content is aligned to current needs and anticipating the future needs in our firm. You will also closely partner with Content Management, Faculty and Learning Solutions teams to bring their experience and effectively incorporate the acquired knowledge into the content and execution of our global programs and resources.

Job Responsibilities:

•Design and develop programs, continuous development initiatives and resources to build critical organization capabilities that are directly tied to management skills, leadership capabilities and the business strategy

•Conduct research, content curation, and incorporate internal and external best practices that promote the learning and application of new skills through the development of high-quality programs, tools, resources and ultimately, participant experience

•Participate in end-to-end design process from concept to operationalization of learning experience

•Adapt program content quickly and effectively as client needs change; Flex to both standard and custom design across programs; Manage to deadlines for content launches and release dates to align with Learning Solutions and Leadership Edge systems.

•Identify opportunities for use of new technology

•Analyze the ongoing effectiveness of the content; identify opportunities for continuous improvement; ensure content remains current and relevant

•Provide support to work streams, program/product analysis, and coordinate across design team for ongoing HR and Business strategic updates

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:

•Minimum of 7 years of Instructional Design experience

•Creative thinker with the ability to bring new ideas forward; comfortable with ambiguity

•Collaborative partner with the ability to work across and within the Leadership Edge team as well as develop strong working partnerships with clients and HR colleagues; Ability to work across geographies and within a matrix

•Leadership experience and working knowledge of adult learning theory

•Strong written and verbal communication skills

•Ability to execute proficiently across multiple priorities

•Exceptional attention to detail and organization skills

•Proficient using the latest versions of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint;

•Curiosity into future focused technological learning methodologies

•Bachelors and/or Masters Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Training/Development or Adult Education
